Sandatharaka Abeysinghe is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Visual and Performing Arts in Colombo. His watercolor paintings are rather subtle and of minimalistic style, where he combines realistic miniature-figuration with abstract landscape giving his works a splash of color. The artist focuses mainly on the day-to-day routine life of rural upcountry Sri Lanka. His sceneries are done on empty spaces, where he aims to fill the gap in his art with the people.
Suraj Gamage holds a BFA from the University of Visual and Performing Arts in Colombo. His work has been featured in projects such as the SAARC Art Camp in Afghanistan and group exhibitions organized by the National Art Gallery and the University of the Visual and Performing Arts. He held a solo exhibition in 2011 at the Lionel Wendt Art Gallery.
